Future Power (“Future Power”, the “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through our website and storefront, why we collect it, how we use and safeguard it, and the rights available to you under the laws of the Lebanese Republic, including Law No. 81 of 2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data.
1. Who we are
Future Power is a green-energy company established in Lebanon, with branches in Tyre, Beirut and Maaraka. For the purposes of this policy, Future Power is the party responsible for the personal data collected through this website. You can reach us through our Contact page.
2. Scope
This policy applies to personal data we collect through the Future Power website, its online catalogue and storefront, its contact and quotation forms, and related interactions. It does not cover third-party websites or services that we link to, which have their own privacy policies.
3. Data we collect
We only collect the data we need to respond to you and to provide our products and services:
- Contact & enquiry data that you provide through our contact form: your name, email address, phone number, subject and message.
- Quotation & order data that you provide when requesting a quotation or placing an order: your name, email, phone, company name (if any), delivery/installation address, and the products or services requested.
- Transaction & service data relating to quotations, orders, deliveries, installations and after-sales support.
- Technical & usage data collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and user-agent, and basic interaction data needed to operate the site securely.
- Anti-abuse data generated by Google reCAPTCHA to distinguish humans from bots (see section 7).
We do not intentionally collect special categories of sensitive data, and we ask that you do not submit any through our forms.
4. How we collect it
We collect personal data: (a) directly from you when you fill in a form, request a quotation, place an order or contact a branch; (b) automatically through cookies and server logs when you use the site; and (c) from service providers such as Google reCAPTCHA that help us secure our forms.
5. Why we use it
We process your personal data on lawful grounds, including your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate business interests, and compliance with legal obligations. Specifically, we use it to:
- respond to your enquiries and prepare quotations;
- process, fulfil and support your orders, deliveries, installations and warranties;
- operate, secure and improve the website and prevent fraud and abuse;
- communicate with you about your requests, orders and services; and
- comply with applicable Lebanese law and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated advertising profiling.
7. Google reCAPTCHA
To protect our forms from spam and automated abuse, we use Google reCAPTCHA v3. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information (such as device and application data) and sends it to Google for analysis to distinguish humans from bots. This use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We receive only a risk score and use it solely to decide whether to accept a submission.
9. International transfers
Some of our providers, such as Google reCAPTCHA, may process data on servers located outside Lebanon. Where data is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected in a manner consistent with this policy and applicable Lebanese law.
10. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to serve you, to honour warranties, and to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations under Lebanese law. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.
11. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including access controls and encryption of sensitive credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; while we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Your rights
Subject to applicable Lebanese law, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to ask us to delete data that is no longer needed, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our Contact page. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within a reasonable time.
13. Children’s privacy
The website is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version in force is the one published here, identified by the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page; please review it periodically.
